Questions and answers
What does it cost?
VentureProven is in an invitation-only pilot. Prices will be published before anyone is charged. See the pricing page.
Who is it for?
People in the United States planning any kind of small business: selling products (including dropshipping and outsourced fulfillment), offering a service or skilled trade, or charging a monthly subscription. You choose the type of business in your profile, and the financial model uses wording that fits it. The formulas are the same for every type.
Is my information confidential?
Your projects are visible only to you. We do not share them or use them to advise other clients. You can download or permanently delete your data at any time. See the privacy notice for details.
Does it use AI?
Optionally, to suggest assumptions and test designs. Suggestions are labeled as unverified hypotheses and are only added if you choose. All financial calculations use fixed formulas, not AI. AI can be wrong; nothing it suggests is treated as evidence.
How much time does it take?
Expect a few hours to describe the idea, list assumptions and build a first financial model. Tests take longer, depending on what you test. After launch, recording results takes a few minutes a month.
What will I have at the end?
A ranked list of assumptions and tests, an evidence register, a feasibility assessment, a financial model with scenarios, an editable Success Pack you can print or save as PDF, a task list, and a monthly record of results against forecast.
What if my idea turns out not to be viable?
That is a useful result. The system will suggest pausing or revising when evidence contradicts a critical assumption. Finding out before you buy stock, sign a lease or quit a job is cheaper than finding out after.
Is this financial or legal advice?
No. It is general business guidance. For tax, legal, accounting, lending or regulatory questions, consult a qualified professional. Free counseling is available through the SBA’s resource partners such as SCORE and Small Business Development Centers.
Will a person review my plan?
Not at present. The pilot is software only. If human review is offered later, it will be described separately and clearly.
